Background

The Original Cafe Du Monde Coffee Stand was established in 1862 in the New Orleans French Market. The Cafe is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It closes only on Christmas Day and on the day an occasional hurricane passes too close to New Orleans.

Cafe Dumonde coffee&chicory is absolutely the BEST coffee on Planet EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 'nuff said!

Best thing for a cold morning

We have great coffee up in our neck of the woods, but nothing like CDM's fantastic blend. The chicory just adds something really special to the flavor. On a crappy morning when we get out of bed and the sun isn't even up, and it's 20 degrees below zero, this is just the thing to get us toasty and moving.
