Orders placed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday will be shipped the following day. Orders placed Wednesday-Saturday (depending on location) will be shipped the following Monday unless Overnight delivery is chosen. Overnight orders placed Monday- Wednesday before 7 AM will be shipped on the same day, orders placed after 7AM will ship the following day.
Perishable items and shipped via Fed Ex Ground/Home, Fed Ex Express and Overnight. When ordering perishable items, you must order a minimum of 5 items (any combination of fresh foods). We use plenty of dry ice or reusable frozen gel packs along with a reusable insulated cooler to ensure your products arrive frozen and in excellent condition regardless of the shipping method chosen. If you would like your order delivered for a specific date or set a future shipping date, please advise us of this in the order comments section when checking out. NolaCajun suggests shipping perishable items via Express or Overnight. If our shipping vendor fails to deliver your Express and Overnight package on time (and your perishables are spoiled), you will receive a refund for your order and shipping charges incurred. Please notify recipients in advance to expect delivery of a perishable item. Please also confirm that the recipient will be home or at their office and that the delivery address is correct. If a perishable item is not inspected by the USDA FSIS program and a shipping address is out of the processing state, a refund for the product cost will be provided to the customer. NolaCajun will not be held responsible for perishable orders that are not delivered due to these reasons. Also, please note there are no product or money back guarantees on GROUND shipments. All perishable food orders are final.
Large Pies: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Also spray each pie. Bake for about 30 minutes, until center is hot. Pies will turn a light
Mini Pies: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare and bake as above, for about 25 minutes.
Large Pies: Heat oil to 375 degrees. Carefully place pies in oil and fry for 7-8 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on absorbent paper to cool.
Mini Pies: Same as above, except for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
