Enjoy the sweet taste of Aunt Sally's Creole Pralines. The famous landmark on Decatur Street is frequented by tourists and locals for the rich sweet taste of one of New Orleans' finest pralines.
Pierre and Diane Bagur, 2nd generation New Orleanians and the founders of Aunt Sally's, opened their first store in the 1930's and began producing special treats called pralines in a copper pot. Today, Aunt Sally's pralines are produced in the New Orleans historic French Quarter on Decatur Street.
Even though I grew up in Louisiana, I hadn't tasted Aunt Sally's Pralines until I came to live in another state. When I visited New Orleans several times in my travels, I always enjoyed stopping at Aunt Sally's Candy Shop and watching them make the pralines. I am glad I can order them from Nola Cajun so I can enjoy them even though I am not visiting New Orleans. No problem ordering and received these in great condition. I would recommend Nola Cajun to my friends. (Posted on 4/12/2015)
