Cocktail & Sons is the brainchild of Max Messier - an award-winning bartender and spirits consultant based currently in New Orleans, LA. Over the course of six years, Max has produced a range of original and inventive syrups, cordials and tea concentrates for a variety of bars and restaurants in New York City, NY and New Orleans, LA.

All of the syrups are produced with natural ingredients and real sugars - no additives, coloring agents or artificial additives - combined with original recipes concocted by Max plus each product was tested and approved by his bartender brethren across the United States of America.

Margarita
2 oz Mezcal or Tequila (Sombra Mezcal or 86 Spirits' Tequila Cabeza)
1 oz Cocktail and Sons' Honeysuckle & Peppercorns syrup
.75 oz Lime Juice (about 1 medium size lime - fresh squeezed)
Optional - salt and pepper rim: combine salt and fresh black pepper (from a grinder) on a small plate. Rim glass with a lime wedge and roll into the salt/pepper combo. Wipe excess from inside of glass.

The Proper Way: Add all ingredients to cocktail. Shake briskly for 10 seconds. Strain into a Old Fashioned/Rocks glass. Top with ice and garnish with a lime wheel.

The Simple Way: Add all ingredients to Rocks/Old Fashioned glass. Top with ice and garnish with a lime wheel. Drink up. Make another one.

 

Whiskey Sour 
2 oz Bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey (Jack Daniels Black Label or Bulleit Bourbon)
1 oz Cocktail and Sons' Honeysuckle & Peppercorns syrup
.75 oz Lemon Juice (about 1 medium size lemon - fresh squeezed)
Optional - 3 dashes Angostura Bitters

The Proper Way: Add all ingredients to cocktail. Shake briskly for 10 seconds. Strain into a Old Fashioned/Rocks glass. Top with ice and garnish with an expressed lemon peel. Add a spicy kick with Angostura Bitters on top.

The Simple Way: Add all ingredients to Rocks/Old Fashioned glass. Top with ice and garnish with an expressed lemon peel. Drink up. Make another one.
 
 
Paloma 
2 oz Mezcal or Tequila (Sombra Mezcal or 86 Co. Tequila Cabeza)
1 oz Cocktail and Sons' Honeysuckle & Peppercorns syrup
1 oz Grapefruit Juice (about 1/4 medium size grapefruit - fresh squeezed)

The Proper Way: Add all ingredients to mixing tin. Shake briskly for 10 seconds. Strain into a Highball/Collins glass. Top with ice, club soda and garnish with a lime wheel.

The Simple Way: Add all ingredients to Collins / Highball glass. Top with ice and club soda. Stir with barspoon for 10 seconds. Drink up. Make another one.
