The moist cornbread stuffing is our traditional stuffing. We have taken traditional cornbread to a much higher level. You will be amazed how moist the stuffing will be when it is done. The stuffing is also made with fresh eggs, cheese, onions, corn oil, milk, cornmeal and creamed corn.

NolaCajun's Gourmet Turducken is not your typical discount supermarket Turducken. This is the Gourmet Turducken found in your local high end 'foodie' market. Our Gourmet Turducken is the combination of three different birds, a turkey, duck and a chicken, along with your choice of one of our homemade Cajun stuffings. Not only are our stuffings made from real Cajun recipes, but they are also made fresh the day the Turducken is put together so you can be assured you are receiving the freshest product possible. The turkey is the outside bird, with the duck and chicken inside. Our Gourmet Turducken will have all three birds skillfully deboned, leaving only the wing bones of the turkey. That's right even the legs have the bones removed and then stuffed. The different layers of meat are then separated by a layer of stuffing. This Turducken is truly unique and appropriately labeled a Gourmet Cajun creation. Because of the wonderful taste explosion and ease of preparation, turduckens are fast becoming a holiday tradition in most homes and we hope it will become a tradition of yours in the future.The weight of the NolaCajun Turducken is 15 to 16 lbs. and should feed approximately 20 to 30 hungry people. Cooking Instructions are included with the turducken. All poultry products are USDA inspected.
All perishable items are shipped based on the shipping service you select and your location from our office in Louisiana.

Our perishable items are shipped according to the following time table:
Monday –Wednesday - All orders placed will ship the next business day.
Thursday-Sunday - All orders placed will ship on Monday.
Note: NolaCajun will do its best to follow the shipping time table above but the time table is an approximated shipping schedule.


NolaCajun prefers to not ship a perishable item that will run over a weekend. This is because we want to ensure your perishable items will not arrive spoiled. Please keep in mind that if you select a shipping method for your perishable order that would run over a weekend, NolaCajun will make an effort to contact you to determine if you would like to change your shipping method. If we are unable to contact you in regards to changing your shipping method, NolaCajun reserves the right to ship your item the following Monday.

If an order containing a perishable item is received and is in an unsatisfactory condition, a notice by email to Sales@nolacajun.com must be placed within 12 hours of delivery otherwise the sale is final. A photo may be required. Perishable items are sold as is. Due to the perishable nature of the products sold, NolaCajun cannot accept returns on products and reserves the right to refund any money unless product damage has occurred.

Nolacajun’s effective perishable packaging solution will ensure your products arrive frozen/fresh as they were intended. NolaCajun.com is not responsible or liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order. All perishable food orders are final. If our shipping vendor fails to deliver your package on time (and your perishables are spoiled), you will receive a refund for your order and shipping charges incurred. There are no product or money back guarantees on GROUND shipments. Please note that we do not ship perishable foods over the weekend.

If a perishable item is damaged in transit, NolaCajun.com reserves the right to credit the customer the cost of the product or re-send the item. If an item is sent twice and the delivery still arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, the customer will receive a credit for the damaged product.

If your order contains both perishable and non-perishable items, NolaCajun reserves the right to ship your items in 2 separate shipments that could arrive on different days.

Tur-Duc-Ken Cooking Directions:  Keep product frozen until ready to use.

Remove from box, place in a pan and thaw in the refrigerator approximately 3½ days prior to cooking.  Remove plastic bag and place completely thawed bird, breast side up or string side down, in a greased roasting pan, making sure the bird does not touch the sides.  The legs and wings cook faster so place foil over these areas, and then loosely cover the entire bird with a tent of aluminum foil.  The foil should not be tucked in, just tented.  Preheat oven to 350º F.   Bake approximately 3½ to 4 hours or until the skin is golden brown in color, basting with butter occasionally. Internal temperature must reach 165° F.  Remove from oven and discard the foil.  Allow to firm up before transferring and carving by letting it rest approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.  The inside will remain hot.  Transfer to a serving platter, supporting the back of the bird.  The string is all that holds this creation together so be careful with the transfer.  After transferring, remove string and wings to facilitate carving.  Cut in half vertically from the neck to the leg area and carve horizontally the individual slices.  Sometimes the leg area will split but this will not affect the taste.  If this should happen, place parsley around this area to make a nicer presentation.  Enjoy!
